Meanwhile, Laila, a reporter, has been changed to the entertainment department when she commits an error during a police operation. Hazama and Laila are brought together when Tapai and Juita asks him to meet with her cousin sister, who turns out to be Laila. With Laila's support, Hazama chases after his dream of singing, and records a song which sees positive reception, but what follows the success is only sadness...

It may fill in the gaps present in the second film where Katie tells Kristi what she remembers from when they were kids, particularly how scared they always were and how Julie and Kristi at times would go extended periods of time without even saying a word. The film most likely will provide more insight into the cult that their grandmother was in, as they will be making more of an appearance this time around...

This revelation leads her to an alternate dimension existing in the town of Silent Hill, over which a cult led by a woman, Claudia Wolf, (Carrie-Anne Moss) and an insane man, Leonard Wolf, (Malcolm McDowell) holds power.
